Why choose us?

Network

Our AS212815 network carries over 700 Gbps of capacity and more than 1200 networks in direct peering, for the lowest possible latency. Baseline network filtering is applied; for dimensioned protection we offer the Anti-DDoS Pro option.

ISO-certified datacenters

Our infrastructure is hosted in ISO 27001 and ISO 50001 certified datacenters, of Tier 2 to Tier 3 design, with a 99.998% availability commitment.

Air conditioning

The infrastructure is kept at a temperature of 22.5°C in order to get the best out of the lifespan of the hardware as well as its performance.

Network redundancy

Our AS212815 network is fed by several transit providers. We can deliver a backup link on a separate router of our network, fed by a different fibre from our main network upstream. We offer transit on 10G, 40G and 100G ports.

Power redundancy

Dual feeds

Two independent feeds, A and B, drawn from separate supplies. That is what lets a whole feed be lost — maintenance, incident, outage — without the server stopping.

UPS

The UPS units on feed A protect equipment from surges and carry the load while the generator starts. Feed B runs from the generator with no UPS in between, which is why a single-corded server must be connected to feed A.

Generators

In the event of a power failure, the generators start automatically in order to power the equipment for the whole duration of the incident.

Cogent Global Peer Exchange (GPE)

Our sites are interconnected with more than a thousand datacenters through the Cogent "Global Peer Exchange", which connects more than 1300 datacenters around the world.

GNM-IX

Through our Remote Peering service, Dyjix lets its customers reach our partner GNM-IX easily from all our points of presence. No extra deployment: we deliver a direct, efficient interconnection, ideal for reducing latency and optimising the routing of your traffic.

How much does it cost to host a server in a datacenter?
The full price list is just above, from 1U to a whole rack, and the Rack Builder prices your exact configuration in a few clicks. Entry level is €24.17 excl. VAT per month (€29 incl.) for one rack unit with 50 W of power included, first month free. What matters beyond the displayed price: the quoted power is included, and so is IP transit.
What is the difference between housing and colocation?
None: they are two names for the same service. You remain the owner of your server, we provide the space in the rack, the power, the cooling, the network connectivity and the physical security of the site. "Colocation" is the international term, "housing" the French one.
Where are your datacenters located?
In Paris, in Marseille and in Tours. The sites are connected to our AS212815 network, with a capacity of more than 700 Gbps, and a redundant fibre link between Paris and Marseille. Marseille is a submarine cable landing point, which makes it the best choice for serving North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
Is electricity billed on top of the rack rental?
No. The power stated in each offer is included in the monthly rental, it is not metered and then re-invoiced. That is an important difference with hosts who bill the space and then the actual consumption: your invoice is known in advance. Beyond the included power, additional power is counted pro rata to what you consume, never by whole kVA steps.
What level of availability do you guarantee?
We commit to an availability of 99.998%, which is about ten minutes of downtime per year. Our sites are designed to Tier 2 to Tier 3 standards, with a dual power feed. 2025 went by without a major incident.
What is the minimum commitment period?
From 12 to 24 months depending on the configuration, and it is negotiable. The notice period for termination is 3 months in every case: that is something to factor into your decision if your needs are likely to change in the short term. For a temporary or uncertain project, a VPS will suit you better than a rack.
Are there setup fees?
Yes, and the amount depends on the commitment period and on the configuration: they are set by quotation, project by project. They go down as the commitment gets longer and can be cancelled out entirely on long commitments. Ask us — the figure is negotiable according to your case.
Can you work on my server physically?
Yes, that is the remote hands service: our technicians act on your hardware at your request, whether it is a reboot, a disk swap, some recabling or work on the console. Depending on your contract these interventions may be included in your plan or billed per job; the detail is on your quotation.
How much does a cross-connect to another operator cost?
The price depends on the datacenter, which bills the link itself: ask us and we will give you the figure for the site concerned. A cross-connect is a direct fibre link between your rack and the equipment of another party present in the same datacenter, be it an operator, a cloud provider or a partner. It is not always the right answer: we are present at 6 exchange points, and depending on the network you are trying to reach, peering, an L2 link or a remote IX often costs less than a dedicated fibre.
How long does it take to bring a rack into service?
Within 24 working hours, counted from the signature of the quotation and from your hardware being on site. In practice it is almost always the delivery of your own hardware that sets the real date, not us.
Is IP transit included, or do I need an operator as well?
It is included. We are not only the host of your rack, we are also the operator: our AS212815 network carries your traffic, with several transit providers upstream and 6 exchange points. That is the difference to look at when you compare a price per U with that of a datacenter operator, who rents you the space and then leaves you to find an operator — and even more so with a computer room or a regional site with no network interconnection, which is not the same product at all.
